This is our last classroom lecture as the rest of the module is going to be spent in our groups creating our radio show using the Radio Studio and recording Studio. We covered how to record interviews and the equipment choices needed record effectively. We talked about microphones, polar patterns, reverb and choice of interview location.

As our group now known as Radio DTW, we discussed the construction of the show and decided rather than interviewing 10 members of the public that we should choose one person for a quality interview and ask them the following key questions.

What piece of music has had the biggest effect on your life?

What was the earliest piece of music you listened to?

What is your take on how society consumes music and the changes over the decade?

We also have booked the studio in readiness to interview our special guests Colin Heron & Graeme Park.
