This week we created a basic synthesiser using MAX 7, I am becoming more familiar with the software and it’s becoming a bit addictive. Today I learnt the following new functions:-

cycle~ a sine wave oscillator

rect~ a sawtooth oscillator

tri~ a trianlge oscillator

Selector~ which assigns several inputs to one output

+~ which adds 2 signals together

noise~ white noise generator

pink~ pink noise generator

ezdac` audio output on/off

I think once I get used to the functions and start to use it more I think it will become a fun bit of software, one that could end up on my own PC.
